The Durell Vineyard produced Sonoma’s first vineyard designate Syrah over 30 years ago. The vineyard lies on the valley floor osyrah2f a gravel river bed in the southwest part of Sonoma Valley. Almost daily morning fog and evening winds coming pouring in off the San Pablo Bay regulating day and night time temperatures and promoting a long hang time.
